I just saw the video you posted about hymens and I just wanted to say that there are so many different kinds of hymens, and if you don’t know which one you’re dealing with then you had better find out. I thought I had “broken” it a long time ago, but when I was fooling around I hooked my finger around something. I found out I had a septate hymen, and because of a hymens elastic nature it wouldn’t break and was uncomfortable during sex, so I dropped by the gyno and then two weeks later I was in the OR getting it removed. I am not advocating this, in fact I hope you never have to do it. What I’m saying is familiarize yourself with your body so that you know the best way to enjoy it. I felt a lot of shame having to do this, I felt like I wasn’t normal and that there was something that had to be fixed about me. But I shouldn’t have. Societies norms have told us there is only one good way to lose virginity.
But Fuck them.

this is a great thing and i’m all for labia acceptance! and this art looks great! but keep in mind that trans* people may not be comfortable with their genitals, and they shouldn’t be shamed for that.

This is the poster of an event I’m organizing in my hometown in Lausanne, Switzerland. It’s a project I’ve been slowly putting together with my sister, a Festival of Sexualities. The idea is to have a festival dedicated to all things sexual, whether it’s porn, art, theater, photography, debates, readings, health promotion, conferences and so on, from a sex-positive anarcha-feminist perspective. So far we’ve just organized this small event on one evening in one location. The goal of this event is to promote and present the festival to our potential audience in Lausanne.
I’m super proud of this project, it’s for all intents and purposes the incarnation of this blog in real life, it’s me finally coming off the web page and being active in my own city. All my followers in Lausanne and in Switzerland have no excuse, you must be there. Those of you who are further away I can only invite you and wish you’ll come! And if not this year, why not next march at the festival’s 01 edition?

This doesn’t apply to all workers in the world, not by a long shot, as most do not have a choice at all, and most have much much worse working conditions as these. But to all those middle-to-working class people in the West, yes let’s all wake up to the absurdity of this system.
this is me, I study anthropology, I consider myself an anarcha-feminist (if your wondering what that means, follow this blog!) ...oh and I love sex, photography (still & film) and asking way to many awkward and defying questions. that should suffice for now...
